Elon Musk sued OpenAI and Sam Altman, alleging a betrayal of the agreement from OpenAI's founding to remain a non-profit company. Musk claims they have now become closed-source, collaborating with Microsoft to generate revenue.
In response to Muskās lawsuit, OpenAI is sending internal communications to address the allegations. A memo by CSO Jason Kwon states, 'Musk's allegations do not reflect the reality of our work or mission.' Jasonās memo rejects three significant claims made by Elon:
GPT-4 is an AGI level system.
OpenAI dropped its mission of benefitting humanity.
OpenAI is working as a subsidiary of Microsoft.
