đźš— San Francisco Woman Struck by Car, Then Run Over by Robotaxi
A woman in San Francisco was hit by a car driven by a human, and then run over by a Cruise robotaxi.
The human driver fled the scene, while the robotaxi remained.
Despite its best efforts to brake and minimize impact, the robotaxi couldn’t avoid the pedestrian. Cruise, the company behind the robotaxi, is now working with the police and has expressed concern for the victim.
This incident could put a dent in Cruise’s expansion plans and the public’s perception of autonomous vehicles.
The investigation will determine if the robotaxi could have avoided the collision, which could influence Cruise’s future operations.
🔍 How an AI Deepfake Ad of MrBeast Ended Up on TikTok
MrBeast, the YouTuber known for his wild stunts and giveaways, was recently impersonated in a deepfake ad on TikTok.
The ad promised an iPhone 15 Pro for just $2 to 10,000 viewers.
Sounds like a scam, right? But with MrBeast’s reputation for giving away free stuff, it’s not entirely unbelievable.
Despite TikTok’s use of AI and human moderation to review ads, the deepfake slipped through.
TikTok did manage to remove the ad within a few hours, but not before it highlighted the growing issue of deepfake technology.
And it’s not just MrBeast! Celebrities like Tom Hanks and Gayle King have also found themselves deepfaked into fraudulent ads recently.
Lots of people are getting this deepfake scam ad of me… are social media platforms ready to handle the rise of AI deepfakes? This is a serious problem

📬 Google Sets Strict New Rules to Combat Gmail Spam from 2024 Onwards
Google has decided to crack down on the Gmail spam issue.
From 2024, senders dispatching over 5,000 messages to Gmail addresses in a day must authenticate their emails, offer a simple unsubscribe option, and maintain a low spam rate.
If bulk senders fail to meet these requirements, they could lose access to users’ inboxes.
Google’s AI is already blocking 15 billion unwanted emails daily, but these changes are aimed at enhancing security.
Google is also teaming up with industry partners, including Yahoo, to implement these policies and many bulk senders are already complying with the new rules.
