๐ŸŽ Chrome's New Feature: Automatically Find Discount Codes for Your Online Shopping

Google is coming for Honey and other deal-finding tools by introducing new features on Search and Chrome to help users find discounts.

Chrome will now search for discount codes automatically when you visit a website. And their price insight feature will show you a price history graph for up to the last 90 days, and the typical price range for the product on the current page.

Google is also making it easier for you to find deals on Search.

They have created a new deals search results page that will show you products on sale from all over the web. You can browse by categories like clothing, electronics, toys, and beauty, or by different types of stores, such as big brands, online-only, luxury, or local.

You can also set price drop alerts from both Search and Chrome to get notified when the prices change so that you can buy them at the right time.

๐Ÿ’ฐ TikTok's Creator Fund Phased Out in Favor of Creativity Program

TikTok is discontinuing its $1 billion Creator Fund, criticized for low payouts, and shifting focus to the Creativity Program.

The new program, launched in February, promises higher average gross revenue for qualified video views and encourages creators to make videos longer than one minute.

To qualify, creators must be 18 years old, have at least 10,000 followers, and have 100,000 views in the last 30 days. Eligible creators can potentially earn up to 20 times the amount offered by the Creator Fund.

The Creativity Program is part of TikTokโ€™s monetization tools, which also include LIVE subscriptions, TikTok Pulse, tips and gifts features, and a Series feature for paywalled content.

๐Ÿš˜ Waze Now Alerts You to High-Crash Areas

Waze can now tell you if you are driving on a road with a history of crashes, so you can be more careful and avoid getting into an accident.

Waze uses AI technology to analyze historical crash data and road characteristics, such as how busy, steep, or curvy the road is. It also uses reports from the millions of users on Waze who share information about road conditions.

But donโ€™t worry, Waze wonโ€™t bombard you with crash notifications all the time. It will only show it on roads that are relevantly new to you, limiting the number of notifications for roads that you drive on frequently.

Wazeโ€™s crash history feature joins several other safety features, including the ability to detect traffic accidents in real time and lane guidance to prevent drivers from getting confused about which lane is the correct one.
