Plus: 🚔 Do Kwon Arrested, 👋 Goodbye PowerPoint
ChatGPT and Zapier team up to give you your very own AI assistant
Twitter is buzzing with the latest news about AI accessibility, and if you're not in the loop yet, it's time to get woke! OpenAI has just launched its Plugin Protocol, which means third-party apps with ChatGPT are coming to town. You'll soon be able to control thousands of apps within the ChatGPT interface. It's like AI is blooming into a beautiful flower, with Zapier providing access to over 5000 apps. This combination gives you your own personal AI assistant.
You could ask ChatGPT to read your Slack chat, generate a response, and send it. You could even search for something you've been hunting for on the Notion database! It's like having a genie at your beck and call, except it's AI, not magic. For developers out there, there's a tool-building protocol. You can execute Python code, set up data retrieval processes, and more!
OpenAI's Greg Brockman has shared some exciting examples on Twitter, like processing a video clip. If you're not already following him, you should be! With the Plugin Protocol, the possibilities are endless. The future is looking bright, folks!
Cryptocurrency Fraudster Do Kwon Finally Caught: Looks Like His Stablecoins Weren't So Stable After All
Well, well, well, looks like Do Kwon's run as a cryptocurrency fraudster has come to an end! After almost a year on the lam, Kwon was finally caught in Montenegro with some pretty convincing "falsified documents" - apparently, even the cops were fooled at first! But alas, Kwon's luck ran out, and he was arrested along with two others who were trying to make a getaway with some fake passports.
Do Kwon, the CEO and co-founder of Terraform Labs, was sought in relation to a digital currency scam that flopped last May. The TerraUSD and its sister coin, Luna, were designed as stablecoins that would remain immune to the volatile nature of the cryptocurrency market. However, in May 2022, they collapsed faster than a house of cards, losing approximately $US40 billion in market value after falling below the $US1 threshold.

Now Kwon's facing a civil lawsuit for "orchestrating a multibillion-dollar crypto asset securities fraud" - and honestly, can you blame the SEC for being a little peeved? People lost their life savings because of this guy!
All in all, it's been a rough time for cryptocurrency lately - FTX collapsed, US crypto lenders Silvergate and Signature went under, and regulators are cracking down left and right. But hey, at least we can take comfort in the fact that Do Kwon's finally been caught - and hopefully, justice will be served!
