💥 ChatGPT Now Processes Screenshots, Images, and PDFs
ChatGPT just got a major upgrade! It can now handle multiple modes at the same time.
You can now upload screenshots, images, PDF documents, datasets, apps, or ads, and ask ChatGPT to extract data or text from these files.
They can analyze the text or data, visualize it using Dall-E, and export the desired image, chart, or data in formats like Excel and PNG.
These enhancements make ChatGPT more intuitive and unlock new use cases for increased productivity.

🎠A Group Behind Stable Diffusion Wants to Open Source Emotion-Detecting AI
LAION, the nonprofit group behind Stable Diffusion has a big goal: to make AI understand emotion.
They’ve launched the Open Empathic project, aiming to teach AI to understand our feelings. They’re asking volunteers to donate audio clips to help create emotionally intelligent chatbots and text-to-speech models.
However, emotion detection in AI is not easy. Emotions are complicated and vary across cultures. Many existing systems are based on old research and have biases in how they label emotions.
To address these issues, LAION is curating the Open Empathic dataset with quality checks.
Despite potential misuse concerns, the organization maintains its commitment to open-source principles and community participation.
